  Why is it so hard to talk about money? Numinous writers Elyssa Jakim and Alexandra Roxo introduce a virtual course, The Money Talks, designed to heal our money wounds and welcome the energy of abundance into your life…

 

  In the pagan wheel of the year, the spring begins with the holiday Ostara. Ostara announces that the earth is ready to blossom. It, like Aries season (Aries is the first sign of the zodiac) is a great time for initiation, for new beginnings, to take charge, and to shine.

  In alignment with this fresh and forward thinking energy, Numinous writers Alexandra Roxo (Holy F*ck) and Elyssa Jakim (Temple Of Venus), are delighted to announce a new course, THE MONEY TALKS: a five-part weekly video chat where we get real about money in order to bring abundance into our lives.

  Why is it so hard to talk about money? Many of us reveal sex secrets to each other, or share our “number” among friends. Even our weight! But how would you react if a friend asked you: “how much debt are you in?” Or “what’s your bank balance today?” UTTER SHOCK RIGHT? We don’t know about you, but the thought of disclosing our student loan debts makes our hearts skip a beat.

  Not only is it SUPER taboo to discuss money, but it’s a subject laden with guilt, shame, envy – basically all the sins in the bible. As a result, the odds seem stacked against us when it comes to developing a healthy relationship with abundance.

  Which got us to thinking…what if we said F*CK IT to the social conventions and old stories about money? What if we shared our financial “numbers” with our friends? What if we opened up about our bank balances, to facilitate healing the wounds and shame we have about our debt, our on-paper value, and, on a deeper level, our self-worth?

  Money is power. Safety. It represents the Universal “mother” energy. As healers and holistic coaches, we will be teaching how to tap into this energy effectively, and create myriad opportunities to heal our money wounds.

  Five ninety minute calls over five weeks will take place from the April 7 New Moon in Aries to the May 6 New Moon in Taurus. Aries energy gives us the fire to claim our worth, value, and forge bold new paths related to our finances. Taurus grounds this vision into the physical realm, allowing us to receive the fruits of our labor directly into our bank accounts!

  We will be your facilitators for this Energy Shift, helping move participants from thinking about money in terms of banking, investments, and debts, to thinking of it as the energy of security, self love, and abundance.

  Be warned: this journey is not for the faint of heart! We are going to go into deep excavation of money views, shame, parental shit, and we are going to clear the path for abundance together. Details below…

  Five Thursdays, five calls: 04/07 – 04/14 – 04/21 – 04/28 – 05/06

  Session format via video conference:

  – Open by casting our energetic circle
  – Each person states their name and a financial “number” which will shift week to week. For example: “How much money is in your savings account; and the next week: “How much cash is in your wallet?”
  – Exploration of the week’s THEME
  – Two-minute shares from everyone on the theme
  – A tool for your MONEY TALKS TOOL KIT, a text to read, and homework!
  – Closing the circle and sealing the work in your aura, cells, heart, and life.

  WEEK 1: IN THE RED: Releasing shame and old ideas about money.

  We lay our cards on the table. We get real and vulnerable about our numbers. Our ideas about money. What society says. What our parents say. This is a straight up money trauma release sesh.

  WEEK 2: SWEETEN THE POT: Living in a state of abundance despite your numbers.

  Now that we’ve released and cleared space, let’s plant some new money seeds. Let’s get organized with some abundance practices, making a plan to build the money relationship we want. Learn how to manage your money and honor its energy

  WEEK 3: DREAM DOLLARS: Celebrating our abundance and manifesting our wildest dreams.

  The Scorpio Full Moon is nigh, so let’s get into a celebratory state about money. We will dare ourselves to dream big and imagine what our loveliest life would be, beyond any financial limitations.

  WEEK 4: RECEIVING THE GOLD: Sustaining the work and accepting the richness.

  We will focus on practices to maintain the momentum we have built. We will focus on what is means to open ourselves to receiving in all aspects of our lives in order to fully take in what life has to offer. When we learn to receive, we find balance and peace, and we open up the floodgates for all of the Universe’s goodies to reach us.

  WEEK 5: NEW MOON, NEW MONEY!

  It’s a new moon and we’ve come full circle. Let’s take stock of the energy we’ve gathered and create a new money cycle with a guided meditation into our abundant state. This call will be a virtual New Moon ritual – a celebration of how far we’ve come over the last month, and a sealing of the new energy into our lives. In the Earth sign of Taurus, we’ll ground the work into our bodies and also share our success stories.
